Team Geriatric is a multiple championship-winning British rallycross team and is based in Westhoughton in the North West of England, close to Manchester between Wigan and Bolton.

The team is led by experienced racer Tony Lynch, who – since moving into rallycross from stage rallying in 2005 – has firmly established himself as one of the top drivers on the national scene.

Despite being made up entirely of volunteers, Team Geriatric is famed for being one of the most professional teams in the British Rallycross paddock – a fact reflected in a multitude of awards that have been handed to the team through the years.

And as for the name?

When the team elected to move into rallycross, it came after various members of the team had spent time in hospital with various illnesses – and all shared a desire to return to competition.

It was Tony’s wife Susan who suggested that the team looked like a group of Geriatrics.

From that, Team Geriatric was born…
